SEPTEMBER 2026

Welcome to the IGEL Community Newsletter!

This monthly update is your source for community news, technical learning, upcoming events, product updates, and practical insights for securing and managing today’s endpoint environment.

Whether you are deploying IGEL OS™, strengthening endpoint security, managing devices at scale, building resilient access strategies, supporting customers, or delivering services as a partner, the IGEL Community is here to help you learn, connect, and stay current on how the endpoint is evolving as a critical layer of enterprise security.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

Better Together

For the first time, IGEL’s Global Education & Community team came together in Ft. Lauderdale for three days of connection, collaboration, and planning for the future. There’s something powerful about being together in one room, sharing ideas, challenging our thinking, and discovering just how much passion and dedication this team brings to helping our customers, partners, and community succeed. Just as important were the personal connections we made, including plenty of laughs and a little friendly competition along the way. After all, a team that learns, collaborates, and plays together grows stronger together! We left energized, aligned, and even more excited about what we can accomplish as one team.

IGEL Technology Professionals:
Class of '27

Applications for the 2027 IGEL Technology Professional (ITP) class open October 1st—and the bar isn't going down.

The ITPs are a hand-picked group of technical experts who know the product cold, contribute publicly, and show up for the community.

Get in, and you're not just recognized—you're plugged in.
Beta software before anyone else. A private community channel with the people building the product. Speaking slots, NFR licenses, free IGEL Academy Premium, and a free pass to Now & Next. This isn't a badge you apply for and forget about it. It’s a seat at the table!

All aboard for more learning!

First Stop

This time, IGEL Instructional Designer Evangelina Theobald is taking a closer look at how your brain learns, what helps new ideas stick, and why the way we learn matters. We love this stuff. Why? Because the more we understand about learning, the better we can help you build confidence with IGEL, get more from your knowledge, and turn that learning into success in your own environment.

How to Empower Your Brain

Want to learn faster and remember more? The key is to learn smarter, not longer!

Start with small chunks and connect new ideas to what you already know. Instead of rereading, recall the information from memory and apply it right away

Use spaced repetition to revisit learning over time and strengthen understanding by teaching it to someone else. When mistakes happen, treat them as useful feedback—they show you what to improve.

Finally, protect your brainpower. Reduce distractions, stay focused, and get enough sleep so your brain has time to process and store what you’ve learned.

Learn it. Recall it. Use it. Teach it. Repeat.
