Academy Tech Tip of the Month: Profiles First, Upgrade Second. Planning your OS11 to OS12 migration? Create and validate your IGEL OS12 profiles before upgrading devices. OS11 profiles are not converted to OS12 profiles, so preparing your Base System, Omnissa, Chromium, RDP, and other app profiles ahead of time is key to a smooth transition. Start with a small pilot group, confirm the devices are “OS12 Upgrade Ready,” then expand to unattended upgrades when your configuration is proven.
